Commission Communication on the Review of the EU Regulatory Framework
The European Commission has adopted today its Communication on the Review of the EU Regulatory Framework for electronic communications networks and services. As you know, this review also concerns the e-Privacy Directive.
The Communication is complemented by a Staff Working Document which outlines in greater detail possible changes to the regulatory framework, and by an Impact Assessment.
Mission Statement
The purpose of this Action Plan is to promote international spam enforcement cooperation and address spam related problems, such as online fraud and deception, phishing, and dissemination of viruses. The participants also open the Action Plan for participation by other interested government and public agencies, and by appropriate private sector representatives, as a way to expand the network of entities engaged in spam enforcement cooperation.
